This is the age coordination and motor skills become refined and athletic intelligence begins. Therefore we will introduce them to the thought of Planned movement which becomes a foundation for the athlete’s level of competition, while still learning execution. This is when the understanding of what I am doing and the why begins to become the dominating factor. Preparation leading to the next level is key in promoting injury prevention as well as building extreme confidence in all arenas. This is the age of engaging in games such as Jumping rope, Kicking a ball, Catching, throwing, running and stopping (deceleration) to enhance their motor skill development and over all athletic ability.
